Good morning Bruce. Today in your talk you mentioned your family and talked about your dad and how your family wanted you to pray that he get well as he suffered from asbestosis. You said that he was a great and wonderful dad. I am wondering if he was a man of God? Was he a practicing Catholic? Did he influence you in choosing the path you have been on? How is it that your brothers are not deeply religious?
I am the father of 8 children and like the situation in your family, only one child is deeply religious. None have left the church, but many go only if it is convenient. The last thing they would pray for save one, in the instance of my being near death would be for God’s will to be done.
That indeed is a hard thing to pray for but that is what I pray for each time I pray when asking God for a favor.
Please pray for my family that when I am in the situation like your dad’s, that all of my children and all of my grandchildren and all of my great grandchildren will pray to God that his will be done.
In the end Bruce, it is the only way things are going to work out. God’s Perfect Will is going to be done no matter what. Whether we have the will to accept it is what matters.
Thanks for your ministry Bruce. God Bless.
