I was introduced to the bible when I was in my 30’s. When covid hit, I used that time to really delve into the bible daily. Since I have started watching your videos, I am learning even more of the bible. I love how you break down the verses and explain them so I can truly understand the writings. Thank you for helping the bible take root in me.

Good Mornin’ Bruce🌞! This was an awesome message this morning! Being Catholic I remember not being encouraged to read the Bible. Since those years, I took it upon myself to read the daily readings some time ago. Sometimes I’m so AWE inspired at how the reading is “spot on”, in my daily life! Thank you Bruce for this timely message!!! It never ceases to amaze me how reading the Scriptures can bounce off the page and strike me by surprise and I could have read the same Scripture passage at other times and not been affected in this way! That’s when I know the Holy Spirit is at work and the Lord wants to speak to me! I must ask if those are two Texan steaks in that picture on the wall? I’ve been in a depression for a while and gone from an avid reader, to not even being able to read a magazine. And so I went on YouTube and listened to audio of the Bible. King James version. I started on the old testament, because I wanted the back story, so to speak. I’m going to go again, but only the new testament this time.

Also like you were saying to people who are not familiar with reading the bible, to try daily gospel readings.I use Bishop Robert Barron’s Daily Gospel readings.
