I have always said there ate three persons in one God Father Son and Holy Spirit but I’ve never prayed to the Holy Spirit Ive just prayed to Jesus but now I am now because of your talks Bruce I am now praying to the Holy Spirit thank you

Great message. I was a member of a Pentecostal Church when during the Charismatic Renewal a friend said “ let’s go and find out what our Catholic brothers are being taughtI” so I attended a Life in the Spirit Seminar. During that time I was so blessed and renewed in the Holy Spirit that in time I was received into the Church. Sadly those times have been subdued. I pray for another Pentecost will will be poured out on this Great Land of the Holy Spirit.

Bruce after I got home from Church, I watched your service and I was blessed twice, a double portion, all your teaching was spot-on and it lifted my spirit. I was received, as an adult, into the Catholic Church of St Thomas Aquinas, Naracoorte S.A in the year 2000 – it was wonderful but I never knew about what he said of the Holy Spirit and yet I have an awfully close relationship with Him, the Holy Spirit – He is my friend. Thank You Bruce for this amazing message!!! It felt like you had poured out your entire self in this message of the Holy Spirit this Pentecost Sunday! Bruce I wrote down so much that the pen I was writing with ran out of ink!!! This message did lift me up immensely after such a trying morning! I pray that I will understand more about the Holy Spirit. Why do I have to separate who I’m talking to. Because there are 3persons in God, I could just be talking to all 3. Will not that benefit me?

Great question. I was not going to address this topic but now that you have asked I will include it in a Daily Devotional.

The short answer is you can have relationship with God as the Trinity and also all three persons of the Trinity individually. It makes your prayer life very rich and therefore your relationship and friendship with God personal.

There is a beautiful prayer I learned as a child. A prayer to the Holy Spirit. I have not figured out how to share that here without typing out the whole thing. Perhaps later. Bruce, thanks to your ministry I have truly experienced a special Pentecost Sunday for the first time ever. It was always just a special Sunday where we heard the story of the tongues of fire. Today I feel I understand more deeply the power of the Holy Spirit within us.
