I have a hard time understanding about the residential schools run by priests and nuns in B.C. how they could abuse children, and they have now discovered 215 unmarked graves, but the Pope refused to comment or apologize for this
Hi Rosalie, It is so hard to know what to say since hearing the horrific news about the children found in the mass grave in BC, there really are no words. No words can ever be enough to recognize the tragic loss, trauma, and suffering of these children and their communities. As a Catholic, I’m shattered and enraged about any and all abuse that has happened at the hands of people within my faith community and I humbly offer my sincere apology to the Indigenous communities. This is something I have never done before, so I thank you sincerely for your help with this. I absolutely LOVE at the end of your talks when you say “wherever you are, God is never far from you”.
