Funny that you are talking about not worrying and praying to GOD. A long time ago, I decided that some burdens were beyond my ability to cope with, so I prayed to GOD and put all my burdens and worries at the feet of GOD, I asked him to carry them for me. I didn’t know how to nor had the strength to carry them any longer. It was very freeing. The trouble is that I keept going back and picking them up again.

Thank you for this message today Bruce. There have been times in my life that God has given me this exact peace about something I have handed to Him. Then there are times I can hang on to stuff almost as if I don’t even know that He will give me peace about it if I hand it to him. God bless you and your team.

Thank you for today’s commentary. How on target it is! My husband and I are anxious about a lit of things, particularly our finances and our adult children. We are retired. But if we can let it go and let God handle it, we will be able to be calm and enjoy our lives. Hanging on to “stuff” over which we have no control is an exercise of futility!
