Being raised Catholic was full of fear and resulted in living with a lot of guilt.
🥺 it was never meant to be like that! Welcome to a New Life full of joy, peace and gratitude! See what you do Bruce🎉
I have to agree with you Jane, I was brought up as a catholic as well and taught by Nuns, we lived in fear and always lived with a lot of guilt, I still go to mass each week though….since listening to the daily devotionals each day since lent last year I’m beginning to have a better understanding of everything, it’s helped me immensely. A big thank you to Bruce
Thank you once again Bruce I am learning something every day.
I am so grateful to listen to Bruce spreading your word especially this Holy Week
Another good reflection talk Bruce, Thank God for his mercies which are new every day and give us every day another chance to right our relationship with Him, through Jesus.
🤗that’s why we have the term practicing Catholic!👍. Everyday we ask for His help and guidance and we receive the grace to do whatever we need to do! Holy Spirit led🙌
Well I am learning so much my first Lent . As Rosemary said in the beginning never to old to learn and what is old anyway.🤣 Bless you both . Thank you.
God is everything, every where a he sees everything and he loves us very much but sin separates us from him, heavenly father help me to run away from sin so I will have a good relationships with him. This is my best Lent ,taking it very serious with the daily devotion with Bruce and his wife, you have really helped me to grow in the faith of God
Thank you for giving me a better understanding of our relationship with God!
Thanks Bruce for another excellent reflection, it has been a blessing to share this journey through Lent with you
Thank you Bruce. This was an inspiring message today.
Thanks for the prayers and all of you teaching us, god bless you.
I loved todays message. As a convert to the Catholic faith I thought part of it was the rules and didnt think about the the actual relationship with God.
I am also a convert! Catholic should be the happiest, most joyfilled people on this earth! We know the rules… so we can play the game of life! Thank you Jesus we get to call God, Father! And the gift of the Holy Spirit to guide and lead! Get Bruces awesome book on prayer and start to journal !🕊
Thanks again Bruce and Rosemary team!!!
This lessons should be read at church on Sunday’s lots of catholic are unaware of Catholicism
This, for me, is the best devotional so far this Lent. Thank you and may God bless you, your family, your staff and your work.
What a great summon? I think I would like to have that personal book, it will help me to be more closer to God. ,if possible can you please also send me Time prayer on my email?
Thank you Bruce. I never doubted that I wanted a relationship with Christ. Yet, I know I have not been a loyal friend like prayer is to me. My FAITH gets me through.
I sent a donation and waiting for the Personal Prayer Book How long will it take to receive it. I know this little book will be something I would like to share with my adult children how could I request for more books and how do I pay for them. Thank You.
Dear Maria, we have found your donation and it was not allocated towards a book but this has now been done and it will be posted shortly. If you would like to order some more books for your children you can go to our Website Brucedownes.org and click onto the TAB above called STORE and order the book through there. Thank you for your support of this Ministry. Gods blessings Rosemary
Have you seen…..FATHER STU?????????? awesome touching Catholic movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The saying “fear of God” is what my very catholic grandma always said to me. I was a mischievous child and she would threaten me with God. Sadly, that has caused me to fear our God and think God was always angry with me. This lenten journey has opened my heart to understand better! Thank you.
I’m needing Healing prayer for my Cousins Connie Sessions , Ruben Salazar, Alex Leal, and Nilda Lopez ,please.
I would like to pray for my husband Bobby to open up his heart and let God in. Bobby is not happy with who he is. I pray for my husband and my marriage. I just wish Bobby would be a happy and positive person but instead he is an angry man so he turns to alcohol.
Is it possible to make a donation to you through Venmo?
AIs a cradle Catholic with 12 years of Catholic education, I lived a life full of fear and guilt. Remember fasting from midnight until after we received Communion? This Lenten season has really touched my emotions and heart. This has never happened to me before. All I can think about is the Passion and Death of Jesus that was done to redeem our sins. This has stirred up more guilt.
