Bruce thank you for trying to explain what seems to me to be mystical experiences. I have in the past tried to ask the Lord what He wanted to say to me and had silence, no thoughts and I’d wonder if perhaps I was wasting my time. That the Lord had nothing to say to me or perhaps that I would only be able to hear from Him through reading the scriptures. While listening to you Bruce, talking about Bonaventure and how he explained this accessibility to experience mystical experiences.
