I can relate to the temptation to sit in my chair and waste the day when I know that I should be doing chores,or exercise. That is my major temptation. I pray for the strength to resist this.

i too have this temptation. So easy for time to just slip by. I join you in praying for courage to just not allow this too often. Resting occasionally is more than okay and a peaceful time but I do it too often. We are all in this together

Thank you Bruce for today’s Lenten reflection. My present temptations is to become involved with several Catholic groups which are held in the evenings and Sundays while volunteering, that I will have virtually no quiet, alone time to pray my personal prayers, and to listen to what the Lord wants to say to me. Lord God I pray for your guidance as to where You would like me to be and which group You would like me to participate so that I can dedicate personal, intimate time with You in prayer and with my husband and family.
