Thank you for your encouraging words, for we are all tempted in so many ways daily. I am so grateful for the Word of God and the Holy Spirit who gives us strength to resist the Devil when we call upon Him. It reminds me of when Christ was tempted in the wilderness He quoted the Word of God and the Devil left him. It also reminds me of the verse. “My grace is sufficient for you for my strength is made perfect in weakness” Dying to self and relying on God.

Coming back to god after many years, I found that two traps were doing too much religiously, or too little. Find what works for you, and god will lead the way!

Thank you Bruce for this message on temptation! I have viewed this late and I also participated in the healing prayer that moved me to tears. I will have to stop here Bruce as I have to pray the Holy Rosary yet. So I am praying and hoping I will see this message again and write a more detailed response along with a heartfelt response for the healing prayer message in the Extra’s box. God bless you abundantly Bruce and all the Team! Bye for now!

We all have been Lolly box victims. That is a very good example. Thanks

Thank you for the simple example of ‘the sweet box’. We should all have the will power to say no to certain things and stick by them; by so doing, we certainly will put the devil to shame.

I loved hearing about YOUR Loly Box, and made my day. I hope I am saying it right, because here in the USA we just call it a candy dish. I think all us grandparents have something on that idea. I have been watching you everyday and it is refreshing to hear your laidback, heartfelt talks every day. GOD BLESS you and your family.

Well GEEEZE I always thought that God does lead us into temptation as a test. So I pray really hard to ask Him… Lead us not…..

I’m tempted to embellish the story. Give it more proof/glamour. In essence … lies. But I really no longer understand those words.. “lead us not into temptation”…

Is this prayer meaning that we are asking God to give us strength at the time of temptation??? Maybe the translation from Jesus’ language is wrong??? I really need help with this. I really thought I understood the Lord’s Prayer.

Thank you Bruce for this reminder of the Power of Prayer. For a decade, I gave up prayer and gave in…to personal desire. My life fell apart. And Renewed through the power of prayer and asking God for help. Thank you Lord!
