Hey Bruce, As always another really good sermon, thought provoking at this time for me and wayne. treasures vs temptations, definitely a challenge and a wilderness to navigate through. But as you said God is with us and like Jesus can send his angels to help us through it. Daily i remind myself that there’s two realms heaven and earth. I need to prayer and ask for help, and still pray even if the help don’t come. My hearts treasure is Jesus but I do tend to misplace him with earthly things, so thank you for the reminder to seek… Read more »

Yes Jules, You’re definitely right! May we always be aware of materialistic things that don’t matter in our eternal home, Heaven! God Bless you, Jules! Prayers 🙏🏼
Thank you, Bruce, as always.
Good morning from Ireland. Thank you for my thought for today.
Yes Bruce so many things I don’t buy because I’m weak when it comes to them
Thanks for helping me to understanding that my treasure is inside me not in material things!
Thank you, sir!
I am interested in your weight loss program please.
Thank you so much for this and opening my eyes to ways I replace God in my life. I never thought that overeating and smoking are ways I replace God in my heart. Thank you for opening my eyes ! I hope my relationship and love deepens with God so that He may be in my heart alone.
I pray not only hope my love for God and my relationship deepen with Him.
Thank You Bruce. Have a blessed weekend.
Bruce, I lost my Mom the 29th of this month 2021.😢 I’m really one who misses her with my whole heart 💔and soul! I pray for a sign from her or for her to be in a dream of mine! We were best friends, did everything together. I’m the oldest of four children The past 6 years I took care of she and my dad. (Who Ma spoiled rotten!) Doctors, meds, with caring for her house, laundry etc. My sister, 22 months below me worked a full time job,So she couldn’t help as much. She’s retired this past December 31…… Read more »

Hi Bruce- I am so enjoying the Lenten series & am interested in the weight loss lectures also. Can you hook me up? Blessings- Paula D
You are right and we pray that we will not treasure the things of the world than God, what ever comes our ways or what we have even our talent, its a gift from God and should be used wisely and not allowing it to get into us. Thank you again Bruce
Thank you 🙏🏾 Amen
Powerful talk today! I’m in the process of shedding pounds as I know that my obesity chokes my spiritual life and prevents me from a closer walk with Jesus. I’ve lost over 50 pounds and spiritually am closer to our Lord!
Well done, Debbie. Keep it up. God Bless.
I would be interested in the weight loss series as well. Please send me a link.
Bruce, Thank you for breaking down the Lord’s Prayer in the way you have. I have said it thousands of times in my life and have never stopped to examine the words and their meaning in the way you have this week. The “words” are so entrenched in memory that sometimes I stop and ask myself mid prayers if I actually said the Lord’s Prayer and I end up repeating it because it comes so naturally as part of my nightly routine that no thought is required. Thank you for the reminder that it deserves my reverence and it is… Read more »
Thank you for another wonderful week of focus during Lent. I especially enjoyed your family incident taking care of your grandchildren. This was a family touching time!
Such a thought provoking sermon, Bruce. Beautifully explained, I am motivated to identify my treasures which keep me away from God.
Your message this morning spoke directly to me. I worry about the world our children and grandchildren are growing up in. Keep up the good work. Have listened to you for over a year.
