I was receiving your daily devotions in my email inbox for a year now. All of a sudden they stopped coming. I’ve subscribed twice now and a response comes saying “subscibed”. They do not appear in my spam folder either.

You may try to unsubscribed your email and then subscribe again. I’m not sure if it will help but it may work.
Or create a new email and subscribe with it.
(Im not associated with bruce downs.org, just trying to help)

That happened to me this morning. No Ministry message.
that was 5 am East Coast USA time. It is now almost 8:30 and it still isn’t here.
I hope your staff can fix the glitch! Thanks.

You might want to check your junk mail. Sometimes it can accidently go in there. If you do find it in there, click on it and move it to the inbox. That should stop them from going in there further.

good Morning Bruce . I listened to your message this morning . I’ve read Ps 51 many times , but this morning when I heard you something moved in my heart ,tears came I was overwhelmed. God changed me, not me doing it. After all theses years, it’s taken me to realise. Thank you. Bless you and your family.

How to pray for others during Lent

Cathie Adams

Simply hit me, what I have been doing right and yet then condemning me at times/moments of weakness. I have often asked God to help me change, but not put it into his hands. Create in me a clean heart, and renew in me a new spirit……thank you!

Depend on the Father’s endless mercy. He wants so much to heal our sore hearts and draw us into His friendship. Praise be Jesus the Lord.

I enjoyed hearing about King David and how he opened his heart to God to create a better heart. Sometimes in prayer I become stagnant and methodical so I need to open my heart to God and listen and not pray from fear or want but from the heart.
Thank you

Well every day’s a school day! I hadn’t realised that ‘ wash away my iniquity et al ‘ was from psalm 51 & from David. Really enjoying the talks & insights so far Bruce & really pleased that what you’re speaking about is referenced in the Bible. Thank you! God bless! 🙏

Thank you so much Bruce. The talks are so very relevant. It is all about what’s in our heart isn’t it and it’s good for us to be focusing on what really matters.

I found this morning in David’s psalm a much deeper understanding of God himself doing the work inside of us that we can,’t do ourselves. I think I will meditate on that psalm. Thank you for bringing God’s word to us in such a clear way. I had been trying to change myself & yes it was beyond me. Thank you Bruce. GOD BLESS YOU. Carol

Please pray for my husband. He was diagnosed with stage 4 cholangiocarcinoma. Doctors say he doesn’t have much longer to live. We have 6 daughters and 11 grandchildren 5 son-in-law’s. My husband is a vietnam veteran. He is so loving, patient, kind. We have been married for 31 years. How can I increase my faith and pray for a miracle, when doctors give no hope

Thank you for taking me on this Lenten journey, Bruce. I have been spending 15 minutes in the morning to talk to God in the same chair, as you encouraged us to do. I write it down. I find peace and joy at the start of each day by doing this. This morning, before I listened to your daily devotion today, I had written in my prayer ‘Create a clean heart in me, Lord’ I was following your format. I opened your email just now and was amazed that the subject was ‘Create in me a clean heart’ Thank you… Read more »
