You came through your ordeal very well Bruce, look on it as another great memory. Thank you for your message this morning you really do make the scriptures come alive and make our relationship with God so much deeper, thank you so much.

Sometimes Bruce life doesn’t come easy, through your understanding of the bible you portray this fact so well. You have shared an insight into Lent that I have not experienced before. Many Thanks.

I had no idea that the children were treated as insignificant back then. Thankyou for your message each day during Lent. Bless you and Rosemary and your team.

With all the challenges that life can bring us (war, ill health, death), how comforting to know that all this grandchild needed, at this moment, was your love and undivided attention.

Thanks for sharing your story about your grandchild. Very humbling experience we never know what challenges await us, I am experiencing this now as I recover from foot surgery and cannot get out much for several more weeks. God bless!

again, thank you for you beautiful way you bring awareness to my spiritual path. ” to be like Jesus “, to me covers the the foundation of my spiritual life. I am not perfect by any means. A priest friend of mine used to say ” We are people on the way “. I find it very helpful in times when I stray from God or when when I need his guidance as to what to do in a situation. I simply stop and Ask myself ” what would Jesus do in the situation? ” , a small prayer at… Read more »

Very good Sandie!! Yes, we all have to keep on “Practicing” until we get it right!!
Fortunately for us God is patient and forgiving for all our fumbles along the way!
🙃A Blessed Lent to you all❣️💜

I know!!! He is merciful, so loving, so kind!! Keep a smile and a joyful heart and others will want what we have!!! Jesus… We trust in you! And we never forget Our Dear Mother who joins our prayers!!! Now that’s the two edged sword they talk about🎉

I have to laugh with you today Bruce. Your situation and how you handled it was great. I have a 44 year old daughter with M.S and cognitive difficulties and believe me there are days. Lol. God helps us cope and nothing is ever as bad as it seems. That’s why God gave us a sense of humor. I am still smiling:) Have a Blessed day.

Many Blessings to you Dear Bruce!!! I delighted today in your telling of your sweet grandchild and the “sharing” they did with you while Rosemary was out of the picture. Each one of us could picture being in your shoes!! 🙃
Thank you for sharing your gift of knowledge in the word of scripture. You have a wonderful way to deliver the message!
Yours truly in MI.

Hi Bruce, when you said children used to be treated as insignificant, did you mean they were somewhat treated like a dog or cat?

Thank you. A very good message and yes a very difficult one. I have a question, when you encounter someone on the side of the road with a sign asking for money how do you handle? I feel guilty not stopping and helping them however so many say it is just a scam. I realize that as well but still there is this unknowing.

Thank you for this message today. I didn’t realize that children were insignificant back then. Thank you for explaining.

It seems like a contradiction! If child mortality was so high, why were children not valued at the time of Jesus?

You taught me so much today, Bruce. I smiled – I laughed – and I felt tearful – all in 10 minutes. But a very special 10 minutes is what you have given to me and to so many, without a doubt. At 75 I am learning more from your words than I have learned in decades. I thank you so much.

Thank you for illuminating the scriptures and giving me greater understanding of how a child was viewed back then.
