I felt the same way…dropping off my children to attend religious education classes I didn’t feel I had enough education to teach! Then one day I felt called to step out and help..now I having taught 25 years this is my greatest joy and hope to continue to serve!
Bruce, your talk this morning was so touching because I have just discovered “The Liturgy of the hours”. I can’t believe that at my age of 81 years I only know what this is and how it can be used. The seeking of education is important but what really matters is how we use it. There is so much we can seek to help us get close to God. I owe you so much!

I agree also, Bruce is fanning the flames to cause a revival so need in us in our older years and in the especially those in their younger years! The Church is the only hope for this world and the condition it is in!

Thank you Bruce, I was reminded that when God came to earth, it was to the Shepard’s first, and when he chose his disciples it was the fisher men. I was late coming to the Catholic faith and have a lot to learn, but sometimes I feel closer to God on my early morning walk, when it just us and I am reminded of the beauty he created all around me.

When being a Diocesan setting I have often felt inadequate because I do not have a University degree but have been very involved in my local parish for over 40 years & I feel that I do have a personal relationship with the Lord & desire always to grow more deeply into this. For years, I’ve struggled to accept that I’m not very good at using words to spread the message of God. It has almost been a burden because I thought that’s what I was supposed to do in order to evangelise and be a good christian. I have something much more profound now since following Bruce’s ministry; a personal relationship with God. I so love this journey I’m on as I continue to grow deeper in my relationship with God. I know that God doesn’t necessarily need me for my words and He can use me in other ways to spread… Read more »

I have felt that my “simple” conversations thru the years with God, have always been heard and I have always felt the love but until this Lenten Devotional I have never really learned how to pray. I think its because like you pointed out I felt I was not knowledgable enough. Now I am learning to go deeper slowly and I feel the love in return. I need to learn this but I need to keep praying in the ways that I feel closest to Him. What a blessing to have stumbled on you in the beginning of Lenten Season.

Bruce. Today’s msg was so wisely presented. Thankyou so much. I’m sure it will be helpful to many. I personally learned how to walk closely to Him by calling out to God with some desperate prayer needs in my family and for others. My relationship grew and of course I am still learning. I so appreciate your daily talks. Atm I am catching up after some internet failure. Thankyou so very much.
