What a fantastic Palm Sunday 🌴 message Bruce, you said it in such a beautiful way that I felt that I was one of the crowd rejoicing, and welcoming Jesus, and then as the crowd became less enthusiastic it made me wonder what side I would have chosen to be on, did I listen? Or did I dismiss the teachings of Jesus? It brought tears to my eyes 😥thinking that I could have been one of the doubter’s. Thanks for this beautiful message and putting us in the spirit of Holy Week. 🙏 Amen 🙏
Thankyou Bruce for your passionate presentations. I needed to do something special this Lent. While not able to listen to every session, I gained better insights into the scriptures by your discussion and hopefully some increase to my faith which often gets tested.
All The Sunday videos called “the weekly” comes out in written form in more of a note form ,on a Tuesday. If you go to the website Brucedownes.org then click onto the word BLOG up the top- you will find the current one and past ones also. We have not as yet done all the DAILY videos. Hope this helps. Gods blessings to you Rosemary

Good morning Bruce, My husband now listens to your devotional . I have sent the last 3 to my oldest son. You explained the importance of “cloaks” in the old days. You might be aware that there is a beautiful and powerful novena to the “Cloak of St. Joseph”. Just a mention to your listeners or family members who might have a devotion to St. Joseph. Thank you for all you do. Roberta

I would like to pray for a speedy death to a friend of mine. He is miserable, has many medical problems, addiction and is soon to be homeless. He has been unhappy, with such deep sadness over the past five years. He is past the point of no return and the only thing that would bring him peace is a speedy death. I started a novena to st. Jude Thaddeus to bring him a speedy death and would end his suffering. Thank you for your prayers Amen

This “Handbook of Prayers” edited by Rev. James Socias, Published in 1958 had a beautiful definition of prayer. Prayer is the turning of the mind and heart to God. Through prayer, we acknowledge God’s great goodness and almighty power, and our dependence upon Him. Prayer can be vocal, mental, or habitual. The best prayer is made up of four parts: Adoration, Reparation, Supplication, Thanksgiving.
