I reflect that God’s will for me is to realize that I am human and sin and I need to turn to him for forgiveness. In my heart I know he forgives me of my sins but it is hard to forgive myself at times even after reconciliation. .I pray to do God’s will for me and not my own.

What a heartfelt presentation of the prodigal son story!! Thankyou Bruce. ! You delivered the love of the Father heart of God. Your earthly father also showed unconditional love. How beautiful. ! I am waiting on some prodigals to return to the Father. Prayer is the key. He is faithful!!

O Lord Sanctify me – a sinner. Is this not this a work of the Holy Spirit? Create in me a clean heart O God – renew my spirit and give me your Spirit.
I completely agree… trust and total reliance on Him our ever present help! “ May the Words on my mouth and meditation of my heart be pleasing to You.”. Are they always??? No but that is my hearts desire and He “knows” that and Loves me beyond what I could ever deserve!

I ask you to please pray for our friend, who’s husband is in hospital and the prognosis is dire. I pray for the family to receive strength and peace at this time and allow His will to be done.
What a great explanation of the conflict that rages within us – the Spirit and our flesh. It’s a comfort to know that even St Paul struggled with this as he writes – ’I do not understand my own actions. For I do, not what I want, but the very thing I hate.’ How so true in my life so much so that I turn away from God as I don’t feel worthy to be in his presence. But this is when I am most in need of God’s grace – an opportunity to draw closer to a loving and… Read more »
Thanks be to God, Maria, that He knows us so well and understands exactly what we are experiencing. I’ve found when I’m going through those “unworthy feelings” that God speaks to my heart through His word and sometimes through beautiful hymns or other people’s meditations on scripture. God sends loving messages of comfort whilst calling me, drawing me back into His presence. How great is our God and how blessed we are to be drawn deeper and deeper into relationship with Him!
Please pray for all those afflicted with cancer. My list continues to grow. Pray for healing and a cure. Amen & thank you.

Please continue prayers for my B-I-L. He has been in the hospital for 10 days, under sedation, after being hit by a car. There may be some brain damage. The brain bleeding has stopped, thank you Lord, and now we wait. your messages, Bruce, are what strengthens me, and help my husband put trust inGod and His will.

Todays message gave me more understanding of how sin works in my life and how I need to turn to God deeper for his will to live as he would like for me to live. I need to have more daily prayer and ask for his help to keep me from sin and do his will.

I am always amazed at the messages Bruce brings us every day.,He makes us stop and think about what we are doing in our daily likes to become more Christ like. He helps us to ponder what we can do better in our lives to be closer to God.
