My passage that I carry with me is Psalm 119:105:

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

I just want to thank everyone who prayed for my cousin, who was diagnosed with cancer late last year. I received word that he is cancer free.

Deuteronomy 31:6 – Be strong and courageous; have no fear or dread of them, because it is the Lord your God who goes with you; He will not fail you or forsake you.

The passage that helps me, gives me strength and the understanding of the Word is Jeremiah 31:33b-35. Declares the Lord,”I will put my Law in their minds and write it on their hearts and I will be their God and they will be my people”.This draws me to John 4:21-24. Jesus declared (To the Samaritan woman). “Believe me, woman, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. You Samaritans worship what you do not know, we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews. Yet a time is… Read more »

I want to thank you for your ministry. It is so encouraging each day. Praise God for your teaching

When Bruce asks us to give to his ministry , I could imagine, that a lot of people think, that they couldn’t make any difference, because they only would be able to give a small amount. I can only afford to give a small amount, but if many people would do the same, it would add up too. Together we can make a real difference. Thank you Bruce and God bless your work

Thank you Bruce for your helpful messages, I look forward to them every day. I have been receiving your emails every day, and I just hope that when you change on Monday, as you said you were going to, that I will still receive them every day.
God bless you and your family.

My Scripture reading that has always resonated in me is Jeremiah 29:11. “For I know the plans the I have for you. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.” My parents were very young when I was conceived and some very important people in my parents lives wanted my mom to abort me. My parents refused and here I am 57 years old and truly believe that God created me to be a helper in spreading His word and His love to bring others closer to Him! Thank You… Read more »

I wonder if you could answer a few questions that I have. First you mention that Jesus rode on a colt. I have always thought it was a donkey?? When Jesus was looking for people to follow him why did he choose men that had to leave wife and children behind.
Thank you for your time

I like the verse that you used today, it is simple to memorize, I’m 71, and sometimes have difficulty with memorization. Thankyou for your ministry, much needed in these times, glad that my small contribution helps.

Personally, I prefer the Philippians 4:13 NKJV …“ I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”For me, it’s more powerful because it has “Christ“ in the scripture.

For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. This is one I keep in my mind. I also find comfort In Psalm 34:4 The Lord is close to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Thank you Bruce for this encouraging, uplifting as well as practical message! I couldn’t respond yesterday as I was coming home in the evening from Bathurst by train! I was determined to respond today. Here are just a few scripture passages that have popped up both in prayer and straight after in the daily Mass scripture readings. John 6: 35….” I Am the Bread of Life. Whoever comes to Me will never be hungry, and whoever believes in Me will never be thirsty…” John 6 : 27 Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that… Read more »
