I have been a Catholic all my life and I have experienced many Lenten programs but nothing like this.And for the first time I can see changes in me and for the first time I am getting a strong message of how I can allow God to work in me.After my husband’s death two years ago I knew I had to work out who was the new me , In my Christmas letter to my family and friends I said I wanted to be a more authentic friend and I wanted to be life giving.Bruce’s daily message that God sees… Read more »

After an accident I was dying, there was no doubt,and I said to God, “Father, is this the day I am coming home, if so I am willing”. The paramedics were afraid I wouldn’t make to the hospital but here I am answering your comment. Why I have told that, I am not sure for it is rare that I share that incident… Read more »

Victorious, powerful, free. When I was an Anglican nothing was explained to me in this way. I became a Pentecostal, born again and those three words came alive in my life. Several weeks after my conversion came water baptism. Since the age of 17 years, I smoked 20 cigarettes a day. Over the years I tried to quit but failed every time. The day I was baptized I prayed to God to take away this habit. I came out of the waters a clean man; my cigarette habit was gone, I felt as if I had never smoked a cigarette.… Read more »

Good morning Bruce yes God is powerful, as I asked for prayers last week that I had been very sick and still am, but on Saturday night as I lay in bed I as GOD to make me better good enough to make it to church because I promise him back at the beginning of Lent that I would be there every Sunday, and on Easter Sunday morning I was feeling good no pain went to my partner house to get some money to put in collection and he said you look very good and he took a Easter picture.… Read more »
