Bruce I can so relate to your message today! Yes at times I can be so stubborn and think that my thoughts and my ways is so right. The Lord has a lot of patience with me as sometimes it may take years to see and understand His answers. It has also taken me years to surrender and trust God in these difficult times when I didn’t know why or how. I’m 62 and still learning. And isn’t it so good when God takes the control and gives you His solution to your issues? My experience has been that His solution / remedy / next thing you do is always perfect, maybe not what you’d thought of ever doing yourself but perfect. I can think of a couple of particular instances where we said “This is what we’ll do and this is how we’ll do it” and that wasn’t God’s plan for us. Things just got turned on their head and the outcome, so much better than anything we could have imagined!

Thanks Bruce for the reminder, I sometimes get so comfortable or busy with my daily life that I forget that I need to listen to God’s voice not my own. Sometimes I feel unworthy of hearing God’s voice and as a result don’t listen to what He is telling me, then I have to remind myself that God is all loving and all merciful and is always willing to talk to me no matter how bad I feel, how guilty I feel, how insignificant I feel or how self-important I feel. Bruce thanks for the encouraging words and prayers shared through your ministry for developing a closer relationship with our God and Savior. May God bless you and all who desires a deeper relationship with Him as we continue on our journey for spiritual growth in our lives. ????????
Pray for my son in jail and will ge sentences on June 24 so the judge will take his mental illness in to consideration and he won’t have a big time in jail as he is a young person
