Hi Bruce, this message was the icing on the cake, before I open up you daily talk I usually read some scripture then say a prayer and my prayer this morning was just that, about helping me to put the totality of myself into God’s care and letting his intellect guide me, it’s truly wonderful how the holy spirit works.

So pleased to hear you say that your “all in” is relative to your life at the time! I KNOW from experience that God has better plans for me than I can generate for myself and yet I still struggle with the tension created by my own ego wanting to do things – in the past, I’ve climbed over obstacles to get where I thought I wanted to be (coz I’d absolutely ace what I wanted to do, of course) and in hindsight reflected that if I’d heeded the obstacle God put there to steer me in another direction, it… Read more »

my son has been diagonized with Cancer throughout his body – I ASK FOR PRAYERS THAT HE MAY BE HEALED AND CARRY ON TO LIVE A USEFULL LIFE
I will also include you in my prayers for God’s blessing on you and your son as you go through this difficult challenge

Thank you Bruce, this Scripture verse is one of my favourites. All in with all my heart, soul and strength and then there’s the mind. The mind at times can be like a wild horse that needs to be brought back into obedience to take heed to the Master’s voice. The Lord’s voice and not be distracted, spooked nor tempted to follow the wrong way, to be lost.

Thank you, Bruce, the power of the Heart A good friend of mine came to see as he wanted to get his blood pressure it was quite high so I advised him to go up to the hospital and get it checked out he said to me he would see his doctor at the end of the week, he never got to see his doctor as our Lord called him home that night, he was The leader of our prayer group, He always used to quote Matthew 6: 33 to me all the time and I still miss him and… Read more »
