Thank you Bruce, this message today brought back distant memories of my service life when I arrived at my 1st overseas posting and met my troop commander and because of previous indiscretions of the person I was replacing I was immediately labelled as a trouble maker, and treated that way untill he was re posted, luckily for me it was sooner rather than later. Hi Bruce, I have been in the labelled box too for last 10yrs, now moved to a different job last Monday onwards. Today’s speech bought all the memories and hurt endured. Now I can look at it with perspective of scripture. Prayed and still paying for that situation and person. God bless us all. Thank you Myna

I am also this person who is viewed by a lifelong friend as someone who is in some way “less” than this person in most every way. I have spent a good part of my 50 plus years of knowing the person looking out for their needs, bad times and real struggles while taking care of my own. Could you possibly seeking their affection? I say this only because I could relate. At confession my priest told me it was a form of idolatry but to continue to pray for them. You are very charitable and seem to be able to fulfill the Gospel passage that Bruce read from. However, it is God who gives us the strength to do such work, and if it is draining you perhaps you’re trying to do it on your own strength. Peace be with you

Thank you Bruce…I am so grateful for your message. I have been placed in a box from time to time and it created great pain. However, I believe I too have placed people in boxes…and you brought this to my mind. Today I ask our Lord for forgiveness and pray for those I have hurt. Lord God thy will be done. An outstanding talk today Bruce I agree, sometimes I can put out vibes that I’m unsure of myself which in return definately seems to make people unsure of me!! What wisdom! Anyways, I know how much I am loved by God and I should allow that to be reflected in my personality so that people can know that if God can forgive and love someone like the person I used to be, then He can most certainly love them Thankyou. Loved this talk today Bruce people dont see us as we really are . I went into a store in my scruffy clothes with my dog in her walker the assistannt came to me told me no dogs and to leave . A week after i went into the same store with my dog but this time i had my best clothes on and make up the assitant said nothing so it was the way i was dressed there inpresion if mewas wrong . I can imagin you with your long hair and people getting the wrong impresdion of you
