How do you pray and include everything you want to ask for, without using OCD and tiring yourself out, and as a result postponing the time of prayer until such time as is supposedly the right moment to pray. Help

Hello Katherine Today I shared about bringing an acceptable prayer before God not just of routine, which at times is necessary and important, but also prayer of the heart. This way we express our personal and sincere ‘heart and thoughts’ to God. I have so many things to ask God for that often I simply don’t have time to say them all. The Bible and Church teach us that God knows everything even every single thought and desire we have. Sometimes I simply say to God: “you know me and you know everything. Please have your perfect plan and way… Read more »

Yesterday I went to a christian yoga class. This class is run by one of the holiest person I have ever met. This man is a quiet humble soul, who lives simply and does not store up worldly goods. He guides us through a series of physical exercises and because most of us are elderly, the routine is suitable for our individual . abilities. It was a wonderful hour for me personally, as each exercise involves breathing slowly and deeply. On each inward and outward breath, it was possible to pray various prayers. Because it was so focused, it became… Read more »

Thank you Valerie. Will be 80 my next birthday and I am doing yoga stretches with PBS TV and it is valuable for my good health…mentally and physically. Breathing in and out (deeply) is a big part of the thirty minute yoga stretch. I can sit in a chair and stand but cannot lie on the floor like some of the instructors. This is when I continue to gently stand and move about until the instructor sits or stands again with their instruction. The main thing is to have thirty minutes of continuous stretching each day.

I have been attending this class for about five years now, it has been a rewarding journey, in terms of communion with GOD. Because the yoga instructor is a church minister, of Indian nationality, he leads us in Christian meditation, using his knowledge of yoga with his knowledge of theology. The result is, that those of us who attend keep our bodies as supple as we can, according to our physical abilities and through the guided Christian meditation, learn a deep communion with GOD.

Thank you has become a very big part of each of my prayers. GOD has been very generous with me in my life. Now in my Eighteeth year here on this mortal coil, there is much to look back on and reflect about. So many blessings to say thank you for. Your program has been yet another blessing in my life, for which to give thanks.

I always like to say thank you to God for everything he gives me and my family. I can only believe that he is always with me even in my darkest hour when things seems so bad then after I pray to Him things always turn out for the best. God works in mysterious ways. Thank you God for all you do for us and thanks for you Bruce and the ministry. God bless.

I too always like and try to say thank you to God for everything he does for me no matter how small especially the things I take for granted. Things like the train or bus arriving on time, or a homeless person asking for help makes me realise how lucky I am. As Bruce says the list is endless Yesterday was one such day when I was truly thankful and grateful to God. Mostly it was a good day until I lost my phone. Panic, horror. But you know in the midst of the loss I gave thanks to God… Read more »

God bless you Bruce and your Ministry. I personally have so much to be thankful for.I owe my gratitude to God almighty 🙏. In the darkest time of my life the Lord was shining his light . The light I couldn’t see at the time. Listening to your your daily inspirational, devotional teachings made me reflected and realized God never leave me. He was with me throughout and still is well with me as I speak. In Jesus mighty name 🙏

Using “the Prayer Process” from Michael Kelly, I’ve learned how to review my day before God and present my most personal needs to Him in an organized manner. God wants to hear us and He also wants us to be silent at times and listrn

Sharing your journal so heartfelt brought tears to my eyes! I pray that this Advent journey will open hearts to awaken people to the amazing gift of the Holy Spirit living in those who don’t include Him in everyday life. May they come alive and let Him give New Life that Jesus died for!!!

In Australia, do you have a designated Thanksgiving Day similar to the United States? Prayer gives us the daily opportunity to pray and be thankful. Yet, our holiday of Thanksgiving is quite wonderful! Just curious.

No we do not celebrate this day . Our history is a little different from yours. It is good that each country retains it’s own individuality. A bit like a garden of flowers, with differing blooms in various colours. We are entering Advent now in the lead up to Christmas, which everyone celebrates according to their beliefs.
