Such a true and powerful message today, Bruce! I wish I had heard and embraced these words forty years ago! Maybe I would have spent less time looking to see what other’s were doing on my left and right and more time looking for the Lord’s guidance. So much angst comes from comparing ourselves to others! I pray others come to this realization in their lives so they can live in the peace of Christ and truly live the life God has called them to live!

Beautiful way to start my day..At 77 and a new widow trying to navigate the different “normal” and I am seeking Him as to what each day brings and how I can make a difference in the life of others. Prayer is a huge part of my life and this grateful heart wants to be led every step of the way. Your ministry lights up the path for each of us, increasing our trust in Jesus🙏

Now that I’m older I am beginning to see that my striving to be and do as everybody else did was not really my calling. Not an easy transition and with some unexpected failures I’ve learned some things. Put aside recognition and ambition and pursue the talents chosen by God for me to use specifically in his kingdom. When I remain humble and abide in his direction I have much more joy and peace in my heart.
