There is significant discord that has erupted in our family ... Words have cut like knives and months, truthfully years, of hurts have spring forth. This on the heels of the one year anniversary off my mother in law's death from COVID. I PRAY that there will be healing... That reflection and then calm conversation can occur and ultimately healing. PAUSE... REFLECTION... RESET with new understanding and new boundaries and respect for one another and the varied grief journeys we are each on... As one who works with loss on a daily basis, I can see that the personal perceptions of one adult child regarding how and what the others siblings are " doing and not doing" and
what that sibling feels needs/should be done are coming from a place of love and concern for my father-in-law but I also see a projecting of that siblings own grief on to my father-in-law and not providing him the space to grieve.. rather dictating to him how he should grief and what he should do. It's a diffult situation in deed. Please join me in praying for healing, that God's Almighty love can infuse hope and healing. In Jesus name 🙏💙
