- Amanda on March 05, 2022 at 8:55 amHi Debbie, that's such a difficult thing to endure for everyone involved, in different ways for each of you. It sounds like this situation is fairly new and so I imagine emotions are quite raw. Sometimes in the midst of a storm or crisis we are so overcome with fear, anger, or sadness that we can't imagine ourselves ever feeling any different than we do in this profound moment. I want to encourage you by reminding you that the whole family is in transition, and while that is understandably hard, transitions are temporary. The upside-downness of this moment is not the end. New normals get established, our emotions calm down, and we re-stabilize. I am sure that your mama heart is saddened and worried. I am a mother too, so I understand the beautiful torture of sharing in the pain our children, even adult children, experience. I pray that God wraps all three of you up in his comfort and peace and you feel assured that wherever He is taking your daughter and grandson thru this season, you feel trust in promise that He has a soft landing prepared for her. Blessings to you, Amanda
