Dear Rosemary, What a wonderful talk! My husband and I are suffering a great deal with pain right now. Mine is from my MS and Ed’s is from his debilitating arthritis. I am trying to teach Ed to offer up his pain for those especially in need of God’s Love and Grace! It has taken me a while to praise God during my time of grief, but some how, it is a peaceful feeling, to offer it up! Rosemary, I sent you and Bruce an e-card in Bruce’s text message. I certainly try to praise God. But mostly I lean on Him to give me courage through my messses. i will try harder.

Thank you Rosemary for tackling a very difficult part of our faith when facing suffering in life!!! Just recently I saw a film based on the life of Padre Pio in Italian with English subtitles, called The Man of Miracles. I did not realize how much this man had suffered in his life!!! And yet he did not fall away from loving God. He did not stop believing. In the film he admitted how he did not like to see anyone suffer and that he was scared for himself.
