A very honest description of what some of us feel when we are discouraged. Yes! we tend to look at those who are doing the wrong things and who don’t even believe in God, achieve so much and make us sad and we question lots of things. That scripture reminds us of God’s promise for eternal life not what this world is offering even though HE walks with us through it. God reminds us that we shouldn’t envy wicked people. Thanks Bruce. You summed up exactly how I am feeling at present. Life is too hard. It seems the more I try to grow close to Jesus, the further away He seems. The last prayer I have in my daily reminders is: “Be still before the Lord, and wait patiently for him; do not fret over those who prosper in their way.” I am trying to use your personal prayer method which is a great help, some days more than others. God bless, you, Rosemary and all the team.

I can relate to comment on PP. I have slowly.morphed from the outline for PP into a mostly daily “letter” to The Lord where I incorporate each section into my letter to Him. As you have said sometimes it’s little more than a note but I have found when I am writing to Him I am more open like confiding to a friend. Thank you for bringing me joyfully to prayer.
