Thank you for this beautiful time of prayer today. My journey has been a bit like a roller coaster. I used to pray like that but got sidetracked searching for knowledge rather than relationship. So many people I know can quote scripture with references and I began trying to be like them instead of listening. Thank you for helping me to see that. There is room for both I’m sure but knowledge will never be better than relationship.
Hello Deidre Yes you are right, relationship and knowledge are both very important. It’s just that knowledge is easier in many ways to come by and so we can spend our time accruing knowledge only and this is lopsided. We can fall into the trap of knowing ‘things about’ God and not ‘knowing God personally’ which comes about by constantly seeking God in our heart and mind by spending time with God. Relationships are cultivated through committing personal time engaged in the activities of building a relationship. It is the same with our relationship with God. Thank you Bruce for yet another great practical message! This time concerning prayer. I have been keeping up with my Personal prayer in the mornings but realise it is not enough. I need to take the opportunity when a perfect time arises as well as set time.May the Lord bless you and Rosemary while you both spend time above the trees with the Lord!Such a beautiful way Bruce!

Hi Bruce. Thank you for teaching me how to pray. Time of prsyer is so important and and must be open and say that many a times I struggle to pray and my whole inner part is just not there. Thank you for bringing in relationship with God more into prayer then knowledge. Than you so much for the practical msge of prayer. God bless
