One I’m aware of is the New World translation which is published by the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society. It contains many errors which seek to confirm the heresies of the Jehovah’s Witnesses. Eg the Holy Spirit is referred to as “it” instead of “He” as they don’t believe that God is three persons. And they don’t believe Jesus was crucified so they say He was killed on a torture stake….am I correct in saying this Bruce?

So pleased that others had the same problem in looking for the reading.Would it be possible to know a day ahead of what reading you are talking about or are you staying with this same reading for a while.I do want to continue with your sessions

Hi Bruce, I am reading the bible with my grandson. We have started from the beginning in the Old Testament. It is not an easy read. How can you use your method to read the Old Testament?
Just a thought – As a grandma Ive found that studying the resources used in the the tabernacle of David the materials measurements, it’s very exciting and could construct something with your grandson. The whole new test fits into this too. You may need to use google to research the bible meaning of each one and seek the Holy Spirit revelation too, to gather what God is wanting to show you and your grandson. So proud of you Grandma generational teaching house to house generation to generation is the way forward

The first day at the top of the scripture was Mt- I took that as Matthew and looked up the verse in Matthew, but you were reading from Mk 12, once I listened a little better I realized you were reading from Mark 12, but I was looking at Mt and it was not the same at all. This may have been why others did not find the same words.

A couple of years ago, a part of the greatest commandments jumped out at me. It seems to me there is a third part, a third commandment. Where Jesus said to love your neighbour AS YOURSELF, He was implying that we must love ourselves. While many may say “of course we love ourselves” it is not necessarily true. There were many years when I did not truly love myself. I did not take care of myself as I should spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally and socially. “Seeing” this has made a huge difference in my life and my faith journey. In… Read more »

I think the Watch Tower Bible is Jehovah Witness Bible. I am not 100% sure. Just look it up.
