Anne, I too, have family and friends who have walked away from their church and God. This concept of churches operating in a bubble and talking to themselves sounds correct. How grateful I am to belong to a church where we work and reach out to physically prepare meals weekly to feed the homeless and hungry in downtown Columbus, Ohio. Yet, our church has virtually no young people as members.
Prayers continue as we so need Christ to be the front and center of every life… because without Him life is not worth living! I have my only child who left the church when he started college and hasn’t come back and I fervently pray he does one of these days. It really breaks my heart. But I hear from my friends who are in the same situation. And what we are doing are constantly praying for them to come back before it’s too late. I have my only child who left the church when he started college and hasn’t come back and I fervently pray he does one of these days. It really breaks my heart. But I hear from my friends who are in the same situation. And what we are doing are constantly praying for them to come back before it’s too late. Dear Bruce, I will continue to pray for you and the ministry. We are living in a troubled world and we need healing. I thank you from the bottom of my heart of the words of wisdom you have given. I hope that you keep doing what you’re doing. Because of this ministry my faith become stronger, more compassionate, more forgiving and understanding.
