Last year during one of your series of evenings you challenged us, Bruce, to try surrendering daily to God for a month, saying we’d be different people if we did so. You were so right!! Just as what you said today is so right – daily surrender has and continues to intensify my faith and so my relationship with God. Now, it truly seems part of my life to surrender daily to the guidance and seek to do the will of God and to do so in a way that is subtly different from being a “good” (rule-obeying) Catholic. Well put Lee! I couldn’t have written any better myself. I can relate to most of what you stated. However I seem to be getting more forgetful as I grow older. I’ll be asking the Lord to remind me more often as He did just before I clicked on to see Bruce’s message today, concerning surrendering my entire life to God!

Dear God, today I am Yours to use as you see best. Everything I do and say I do for you and even if I don’t see your purpose In what I am doing I pray for the grace to do it to the best of my abilities For the glorification of your name. Amen

P.S. Bruce I still carry your commitment card in my wallet everyday after so many years, with the 6 basic steps for “Walking Daily With God” Thank you!

I do tend to be forgetful sometimes and this can be often frustrating despite knowing that… Read more »

Bruce you are a catalyst in people’s lives. Thanks for praying for a family as the latest report is that in the lockdown the family is bonding again. A breakthrough! Praise God.
Also praise God for Cardinal Pell’s example of forgiveness and trust in God.

Bruce,

Thank you for your lesson today and for sharing the messages that you are teaching after Easter. We are blessed that God has called you to guide and teach us about the Christian life.
