I so needed to hear this today. I have so many struggles-probably not nearly as many as so many others- but today I am in need of strength and of faith to know that I am right where Our Almighty Father wants me and that He will take care of me and my future. Thank you, Bruce, for always knowing the exact words we need to hear and delivering them with so much fervor. I appreciate all you do and every word you speak. Please keep me and my intentions in your prayers. Thank you and God bless you.

You have a way of getting your message across in a way that touches my heart and keeps unlocking the mystery that is God. I am truly blessed. God bless.

Thank you Bruce for the reminder God is always with us. I have been struggling terribly the last two weeks with arthritis inflammation. I started my prayers by thanking God for his love and healing. I am feeling an improvement in movement as well as being able to tolerate the pain better. The intensity is easing. God is indeed always with us and helps us through.

Today you reminded me of one particular struggle some time back when one of our children was turning teenage years into a nightmare for us – really, it was pretty bad. I remember praying before Mass and basically asking God “Why me?”. I left Mass with God’s admonition “Why not you? What makes you so special that you can avoid problems?”. I felt changed and so strong after that day: Trust God, trust that when He gives me challenges, He will give me the wherewithall to get through them and love the wonderful gift of my children just as He… Read more »

Thanks again Bruce, you are so right about prayer, healing and total surrender to Christ. As I learn to trust God more these things become self evident. For example prior to the pandemic my little one man business was booked 3 to 4 weeks in advance but over the last few weeks the inevitable happened – work was just not forth coming. However, total acceptance of the situation in the belief that what ever situation God is putting me through was for my benefit and that if I surrender to His will in every way possible, all will turn out… Read more »

Thank you Bruce for this message tonight. It felt like I was receiving a deep and meaningful, heart to heart discussion and been given advice by the Lord through a dear friend. This brings me back to another cherished memory I have of a personal conversation I had with a dear Italian priest. I confided in him that I didn’t like to suffer and that I had prayed to the Lord to take away my suffering over and over again, and that He hadn’t. He replied that perhaps what the Lord had said to Saint Paul, He is now saying… Read more »

First can I say I find your relaxed surroundings of most of the recent series more like you having a chat with us than being “preached” to. Next, thank you for the Lenten/Easter series. So many days were so inspiring – for me the one I remember most is about allowing God’s Love to bubble up from deep inside (Day 20, after gospel of woman at the well). Today’s message reminded me how I felt so guilty because I fell into a period of depression and required a short course of medication after a particularly difficult few months. I thought… Read more »

Bruce,

Thank you for today’s message!! It is well explained. And yes, we draw near to Jesus in our struggles.
