Many thanks Bruce. I shared this part of a reflection with our NSW State Council of SVDP over the weekend. Certainly adds to your thoughts and prayers here…A consistent feature of the resurrection stories is that the risen Jesus was different and initially unrecognizable. Resurrection is not simply a resuscitation of the old body. Jesus is in a “new” space and the disciples were not, they were still in the turmoil of grief and change.
