Bruce, your words deeply resonated today. I too was blessed to be mentored as a new Christian. Also by a Bruce I realise! Nearly 40 years ago he said that the most important thing is a personal relationship with Jesus. I’ve never really understood that but your message today helps

Dear Bruce,
I have been brought up Baptist and am now attending Catholic Mass on Saturday evenings. I know
what you have said today is true for me. Billy Graham thundered forth the same message years ago
and we hear it in his writing today. A personal God. I used a hymn prayer this morning called –
“I life my heart to Thee, O Jesus most desired.” The response of this sheep to her shepherd. Ruth

Thank you Bruce. The realization that the Good Shepherd knows the members of my family who don’t have a personal relationship with him – That he sees them and loves them and is calling them gently is very comforting. I will take that to my prayer today.

Dear Bruce,I have been in relationship with God all my life yet as a distant Father. I have known Him as Abba close and personal for at least 15 years yet when I heard those words this morning “He knows what has shaped me” it brought such comfort and relief to me. I am seeking His wisdom on how He wants me to respond in the situations and circumstances of my life. I am deeply involved at present especially in the lives of my youngest son, his partner and their dear little daughter. They are young and struggling in their… Read more »

Bruce my siblings communicate with me as if I am faulty, as if something is lacking or simple or a loaf short of a slice. One said I was tirying. One tries to control what I say by interfering as I speak so she can control what she hears. She does not like the way I express myself or my humour. One said I was intense. So I try not to bother them by my presence. It gets lonely especially since mum only died in 2023 Christmas. So listen ING to you and teaching us about the good Shepherd is… Read more »

Thankyou Bruce for your insight.
It tremendously helps me on my journey to decipher my wants and God’s plan for me. He knows me better than I know myself. He knows my needs.
I pray daily for you both and our missionary of members searching for truth.

Hey Bruce,
You touched on a point today about God calling us all by name, something I have wrestled with for years is calling names of evil people past and present in the world. I am not mentioning any names but it troubles me that we are all created in Gods image and some of us can create such devastation which is so opposite to the call of Gods love.

Thank you Bruce
I don’t listen to you every day which is really my loss because when I do I feel better in myself, in honesty I think it’s laziness but I’m not sure. I want so much to be closer to Jesus/God and occasionally I do feel it. Thank you for just always being here when I need you.
God bless you always
Terry

Bruce, thankyou once again, you inspire me to pray, born and brought up catholic but through somebad decisions, ended up not following my relationship with the church, then following the tragic death of my sons dipped my toe back into the church in 2009 then having responsibility of my grandsons baptism, first communion I found myself back in the catholic life, I’ve tripped up but am now fully back, and you and yours are teaching an 81 year old how to pray 🙏 eternal grateful Rosemary

Feel so privileged and grateful that I’m loved and known personally by my name. Many years ago I responded by going forward for prayer and the song ‘do not be afraid for I have redeemed you ….. I have called you by your name’ was being played. The person leading prayed “Susan – you are so precious”. What a wow moment! I felt like God spoke to me personally and this moment was so special even though on returning to my seat I realised I was wearing a big badge with my name on! 😂

Hi Bruce! It’s been a while, so much has been going on! I have been in the hospital more than out! My Multiple Sclerosis, has become even more challenging. My Husband Ed, also has had several challenges. We’re in our 70’s now, I look at this as a gift. Each day when I open my eyes, I am so grateful! But then again I believe if, and when, we go ⛅️Home, how lovely it will be, not to be in pain, and with no difficulties!! So for me I appreciate both thoughts. By suffering, it makes me ever so much… Read more »

Thank you for this today. As I listened, I realized that even though I have never felt the deep love that others have in their lives, I have God who loves me and wants me. It gave me comfort to know that I am not alone in this life.

Hi Bruce, I had encounters with the Holy Spirt at Medjugorje and have spent many years trying to understand my position with Him. My wondering and questioning has been helped enormously by listening to your presentations. I have come to realise that He is truly with me all hours of the day and night. Knowing that makes me want to deepen our relationship. Life knowing God is with you at all times is something that helps you to desire going ever deeper. Thankyou for your part in my journey.
