Rosemary, this devotional was just what I needed today. I live in the US and am so engrossed in what is happening all over our wonderful country these past few months that I find I am just beside myself, not eating, not sleeping, worrying. Thank you for reminding me to be still and hear God.

Grateful for your encouragement!

You are so right Rosemary.
I’ve had a busy time of late within tne family. One of our sons was moving interstate. I constantly had my phone with me to answer queries re items he was giving away and selling. He left yesterday. I went to adoration after the teary goodbyes.
Being quiet before Our Lord was the best tonic for my busy mind and body. I came away refreshed.
I need to make more time for that stillness.

Wonderful message RoseMary in this super fast paced world we are living in!I was encouraged when I read an article in the US that adults are now trading in their “smart phones for plain old regular telephones to avoid this very issue. Let’s all pray this trend continues throughout the world! SMART phones ARE making a lot of us dumb!
