Thanks, Rosemary, for this video. A lot of what you said resonated with me. No matter how old you are, life is a struggle between our humanness and what we know God wants for us. I have two prayers that help me. One is after receiving Jesus in Holy Communion, “Stay with me, Lord. Live in me that I may live in you. Dear Rosemary, A week ago Friday I was saying my morning prayers after morning Mass and I was wondering how I was going to do, everything I had to do for the day in the 8 hours I had to do it in. My sister and I have the same prayer book for each morning prayers, and I hadn’t taken the time to pray from it, that morning. My sis called and asked if I had read the days prayer. Thank you Rosemary for this message which you explained so well, the struggles we face in life, in our marriages, the daily tasks we try to accomplish that sometimes do not go as planned, the dreams from the past and present that didn’t eventuate. Thank you for sharing the saying of Padre Pio, one of my favourite Saints too!!! Only just last Friday, I prayed to the Lord to help me with all the chores I had to do, including taking my husband’s turn to cook.
