Thank you, Emma. That is my favourite hymn. It was the Entrance Hymn at both my parents’ funerals and always brings a tear to my eye. I often sing it in my head because it is just so beautiful and so true.

Thank you Emma for calling me to reflect more deeply on that hymn. I always think of my daughter when I hear that because “come as you are,” was her response when I encouraged her to wear something more appropriate to mass
