Thank you Rosemary for your message today. Before I read at Mass each week, I always say to myself this verse from Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through him who strengthens me”. I get quite nervous before I start to read, but saying this verse inwardly, calms me down!
Me too! I know only the power of the Holy Spirit will make sure God’s Word is read in the right way to reach the hearts and minds of exactly the people who need to hear what God has to say.

Thank you for sharing that passage. I also get nervous when I read at Mass. I call on the Holy Spirit for his help also, as I leave my seat.
