Bruce. I don’t believe you have failed at all. You don’t know how many silent people you have touched. You don’t know that people have gone back to church, because they can’t tell you. You put out and people listen. It doesn’t bear fruit immediately. But it does ultimately.
How sad is it that secularism has taken over Australia, it doesn’t even feel like a christian country anymore. People have destination weddings with three day celebrations but much of society won’t even consider/reflect on the meaning of Christmas and its significance in their salvation.
Not just your country but a lot of countries, USA included. Your outreach as reached many people who have gone back to the church or at least listened and may have contemplated about their lack of faith and now may be moving closer to conversion. Many now are reading the Bible especially the Psalms and New Testament.

Bruce may God bless you for this inspirational message! 23 million is not the true number of those whose lives you touch. Just think of the number of lives affected by those who have been blessed to know one of those 23 million, and the effect of your messages on their lives as well! It is those numbers that are so astounding! I am blessed to have found you several years ago and pray that my life has been more in line with the Lord’s wishes in this time. I wonder if the dead looking plant or tree is us or a family or friend who appears dead to God. The farmer or vineyard owner is God giving us fertilizer, another chance, and the tree roots or us determine if we are going to accept God, the Trinity, into us and follow what Jesus wants us to do.

Bruce, you are not a failure. You have impacted my life. Just because things don’t happen immediately, does not mean you are a failure. Perhaps in peoples future they will remember something you said and change paths then. You have done your job at spreading the Word and I believe you will reach more people but that is on them, not you. You have done your job, now it is up to them to do theirs. I totally agree with Mary’s comment Bruce 👍, when I first heard your message sitting behind the camera recording your talk, I thought that you were being to hard on yourself.
