The Holy Spirit is at work in me. Atm to change my attitudes to event’s from the past. I’m grateful for that.

I especially thank God for the gift of the prayer He inspired you to share with us today because, as always, He knows what reassuring words I need to hear. And God kindly allows me to use those words not only to pray but to put to rest my concerns about how or what to pray. God is absolutely amazing! I am so grateful He led me to this ministry of “The Catholic Guy” I thank God for you all and the many blessings that are sent through the fruit of your labour. Amen

I’m looking for some guidance about how we as Catholics should respond to the LA Dodgers inviting that vulgar group of anti-Catholic trolls. My heart is broken as a Dodger fan but crushed as a Catholic. Must we stand by and let them dehumanize our sisters and mock the crucifixion and the Virgin Mary? I know Muslims and Jews would not have this response. I am praying for them and writing letters but are we to turn the other cheek and let them defile our reglion until we no longer have one? Thank you and God bless.
Dear Mike I’m sorry to know that you are upset because of a group of unbelievers and of their wickedness. If this can help you ,remember what JESUS said in John 15:18-20 ” If the world hates you , know that it has hated Me before it hated you. IF you were of the world ,the world would love its own……………..When you talk about Muslims and Jews not tolerating those kind of behaviour ,I totally agree but I also remember that they don’t have Jesus to reassure them with wisdom and kindness. Thank you Jesse for your wisdom in this matter, for I too have been so sad and concerned about what is going on in this world, and with this group of haters of Catholics. I now understand how I need to pray for them.
Hi Sandy This is to show how the Holy Spirit works in us. Those things do not sit well with us and we rebel against it. We are blessed to know better and that Our Father in Heaven is in control no matter how the devil wants to show us those bad earthly things. We continue to pray. Take care

We are all on different journeys. I see that as I read the comments of others and from what you said, Bruce. I am on my own journey and at 70 years of age it seems God’s work in us will never come to an end! However, God’s Word reminds me that He who began a good work in us will complete it on that day of His son Jesus’s return. That’s the comfort food that I offer to everyone reading this today who are frustrated at the, sometimesslow, process.

Bless you Bruce. I also know that the Holy Spirit is speaking to me everyday things that I should do. I just need to priories my time to do all these things. I have decided to type out the Rosary with the three mysteries and decades to distribute to the Catholic congregation. But I have to convert it to Zulu, cause the mass is mainly for the Zulu’s. There are also other things that I have to do, but I will take action on the first thing that I was told to do. Thanks for clarifying all these things in… Read more »
