We have been through a Tropical Cyclone with no power for 5 days now and no promise of reconnection until next weekend. We are not sure how we are coping. We just do, one step at a time. We trust that power will reconnect and we are just being patient know that is has to reconnect one of these days. All is well, all is well, all manner of things are well.

Today’s reading was exactly what I needed in my life right now.
This is my second lent program with the catholic guy and I was wondering if it would bring me even closer to God, as you consistently tell us. It most definitely does, last year was a very hard year for me and your daily devotion kept me going through the journey, now I am glad that you are part of my daily routine and grow stronger my faith and trust in God

Thank Bruce for explaining the Trust in god . I had friend who is very worried because he is working far at sea and his daughter is sick and only his family he’s a widower and he trusted his daughter to a Nanny . He asked me to send money to help pay the doctor but l also a pensioner , l have no income and l am also sickly so l can’t help . He believes in god and I told him Trust Everything to God . He wouldn’t listen keeping worrying and asking me to help pay the… Read more »

Dear Bruce, Thank you for your great Lenten Devotionals. I have been following you since Lent 2022 when this pop up in my email. I have grown so much in the past five year. But this year for me this seems to be the most powerful. I have been reading the ones on forgiveness and trust over and over, as I have been having some struggle with both of these. I’m going thru that right now. My daughter is getting jaw surgery, her teeth are breaking down her jaw and she has to get screws put in. I’m scared and don’t want to be, but I don’t live a total Jesus life. Will he answer my prayer to help her or does he want something else for her witch isn’t good, it’s scary. I say I trust him but why am I scared. I’m sorry because he has helped me many time’s, yet I don’t know now.
