Hi Bruce,
My family has been in a difficult time since August last year. I have been watching the Daily Devotional already beforehand things were bad. But through the Daily Deviotional, I was able to keep my faith stronger because of the words I hear everyday. It made me more closer to God. I know in my heart that God is with me, with my family everyday.

It will be 2 years next Wednesday since my beautiful daughter took her own life. The sorrow was immense. I know it couldn’t have coped in my own strength. God was my rock. I was to be going to a five day event with you here in Brisbane Bruce but of course that couldn’t go ahead. I made it to one day hoping to speak with you however you were busy with others. Dear Bruce Please can you help my dilemma please I am an 86 year old widow and I live alone.I live in a small village with only a protestant church.I cannot get to mass as no transport and no other catholics nearby to give me a lift. I would like to know the churches thoughts on me attending a protestant church.they would. In our weakness ‘giving God permission’ to act in our lives…..is a new and valuable thought for me.
I never thought of giving God permission !
I know He would never force Himself into our lives….He offers….He suggests and proposes……but this is a much more proactive understanding for us.

Hello Bruce. I met you when you came to Phoenix a couple of years ago. This is my 3rd Lenten journey with you. Today’s daily devotional spoke directly to my heart. I am the youngest of 3 children and the only one here in Phoenix with my mother. My other 2 siblings live in New York. My mom was recently put in Hospice care and has less than 6 months to live.
