Every day, you give us fresh bread from heaven and today was brilliant. I have lived with the experience of what you have taught us. In May 1986 I was in a different Church and was not yet a Catholic. In the service I experienced being born again, not knowing what it was. In due course I understood what that experience meant. Two weeks after that I was baptized, full immersion, but before I entered the water I prayed. I had smoked cigarettes from the age 17 years, a packet of twenty every day for 49 years. I wish this one friend of mine will hear you. Especially at times like today where you remind us that the Cross is our Salvation. God wants to forgive us. We need to ask for and accept His forgiveness. I told her that today. I pray for her acceptance of this truth.

I started these daily devotionals as part of my Lenten renewal. They have really touched me and provided me a better understanding to the scriptures and what they are trying to teach us. Thank you fir your messages, and I pray that you continue in your good work to spread the word and to keep the Catholic faith alive.
