Thank you Bruce for today’s message that surprised me! Only last night, I was questioning why I was given scripture passages in a farewell card, from Isaiah 40 by a Christian Art Teacher! Many years ago you offered the book you wrote of prayer when you were on TV! I received a copy and it used it with the youth group at church! We gave out journals and many of the teens comments about their experience with journaling were precious and they said they truly enjoyed their quiet time! I had already been journaling for 11 years, it makes a difference to write your prayers, and brings an awareness and intimacy, and oneness with Him and each other! He hears, and answers. Thank you, Bruce, for your encouragement and teaching on how to personally pray. I have always desired to pray like that and have never really felt I was achieving it. Don’t get me wrong, I know all prayer is powerful and there is no right or wrong, but yesterday I finally set my timer to 15 minutes for prayer alone. Wow, it was wonderful! The timer rang and I couldn’t believe 15 minutes had passed.
