Hello Jean, The Bible is extraordinary. It is not a normal book. It is inspired, meaning God breathed through people. It speaks to us of God’s Kingdom which is all around us. You can read it at an academic level and/or you can read it at a spiritual level. It comes alive when you are searching for God. It is truly impactful when you are person of prayer. Thank you Bruce for confirming those words in this message that I heard while enquiring which direction to take: BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD!!! Today I was going to go out visiting, but felt drawn to go into my room and pray to the Holy Spirit instead! I even put this prompt to the test by heading to a different Catholic Church than the Church I attended this morning, hoping I could find inspiration from the Holy Spirit in there.
