Emma is amazing. I wish that I had had a fraction of the wisdom she shows in her life’s journey. When I was raising the five blessings which were entrusted to me, many years ago.
Thank you for sharing your profoundly moving story.

Thank you for sharing. I have a grandson who has been having problems like you before birth. He has so many major things wrong with him. He is almost 3 and has a team of six doctors waiting to do a surgery that has only been done one time before. But I think we forget sometimes what a family goes through.when they have a child with daily medical needs. She also has two other children to worry about. And a hubby and full time job. Your story ment a lot to me!

Your story Emma inspires, yet humbles us, to reminds us that we are not alone in our burdens, and in carrying our crosses. St Paul talks about all of us sharing each others burdens, be Jesus to each other. Thank you for sharing your story, your cross, your family’s cross, which is not really a burden but more a gift, that at times, is heavy, exhausting and sure seems impossible but God’s grace is upon you and your husband and the rest of the family. You are not alone, for many others like yourself have similar crosses and together you… Read more »

Thank you Emma for sharing your cross with us & I give thanks & praise for the grace, love & strength that the Lord has given you through your cross, so that you can live & experience the life, love, spirit & joy that is Hannah. Today, 15th April, is the 32nd birthday of our beautiful grandson, Wade, who was born on an Easter Sunday & went home to God just 10 weeks later. We are so grateful for the love & joy that he brought to us in that time & for the grace & blessing that the Lord… Read more »

I understood take up your cross in a whole new way after this word today Emma.
I became a Christian as a young teenager and this year I am 65 years old.
For the first time I feel unafraid of embracing the cross.
Thank you so much for sharing your precious story. X Sonia ❤️

I did not think Good Friday would bring me such a lovely gift. I am a newer member and this was my first time hearing this message. Like. Many others here I felt this was meant for me to hear. Thank you Emma and Hannah.

This is the second time I listened to your daughter’s message. Thanks for the invitation to do so. I believe I got even more out of it this time. This time I focused on my cross and am encouraged by your daughter’s testimony of how she came to carry her burdens. Thank you.

May God bless us all and our families as we place our burdens at His feet and ask Him to be with us on our journey every day. Amen.

Emma gave us such great Good Friday encouragement talk. Her faith is remarkable. I have not been understanding of my daughter’s disabilities. I have failed many times and my expectations have been unrealistic. With the help of the Lord Jesus Christ, I will carry my cross with more love and understanding.

Beautiful story of a child that is loved. Tears are not something that should be looked down on as a weakness but a healing of our hearts. They are also blessings. Pray on for your family and Hannah.

Thank You Emma for sharing your story!! You touched my heart! May God bless you and your family!! You Truly are an inspiration to all!! My mom has a disability. She is blind and I have finally accepted her and love her for who God made her to be. It saddens me that she has never been able to see her grandson ( 13 1/2 years old). I have to carry my cross and give my mom love, kindness and acceptance always.❤️❤️

What a beautiful message of take up your cross. I learned something new….As I was listening to the message it made sense to me….as if a light bulb went off. I cried as if I felt her burden being lifted as your granddaughter lifted her cross and I needed to lift my cross. Thank you for all your message during this Lent season. In the beginning of this journey you mentioned it will change you…..And yes it did ❤️

Emma,
What an experience you are sharing! Thank you for showing me how to follow God and not insist in my humanness that I know the way. You are a strong courageous woman and Hannah is so blessed to have you as her mother. God placed her in your heart and life because He trusted that you would provide the love and you would provide for her additional needs lovingly and without showing sacrifice or burden. May God continue to lead you and your family.
God Bless You

Your story has blessed me by helping me understand that it is the “follow me” that is the important part of that scripture. “Put my yoke upon you”—“my burdens are light” “my way is easy” In letting God guide me through life after the death of my son, I have found this to be true. God’s word and His promises are most certainoy true.

Listening to Emma and listening to you during this Lenten season, along with attending Easter Vigil has brought God from my head to my heart. I have struggled with this for so long. I was raised Catholic, went to Catholic school, taught CCD, but nothing could get God back into my heart until this day. I am so thankful. I am reading how to pray a chapter at a time and really digesting this book. I want to thank you for bringing God into my heart. I know this was the instrument that God used but now I am going… Read more »

What a wonderful reminder thank you so much for sharing your story Emma.
And I would like to thank you Bruce and your team for the daily devotions., each day I sit and listen to them and have a deeper understanding of the scriptures as you have managed to unpack them in such a simple way. You are made for presenting Gods word. Thank you once again. I wish you all a very Happy Easter.

Dear Emma

Thanks for sharing your wonderful life. You have given me a different perspective about cross. Your story moved me deeply and I had to fight off my tears. I failed at the end. I will keep your family and the gem of a girl Hanna in my daily prayers. May God be with you and teach Hanna to become the person He wanted her to be, when He placed her in your womb.

Thanks for your great message about carrying the cross. May God bless you and your family.

with love and prayers

Thank you Emma. I’d heard your history before in one of Bruce’s daily devotionals ages ago. I already understood some of how your life must have changed from your expectations (I’m a lawyer, spent many years as a disability service board member [volunteer role stemming from my employer being a service’s honorary solicitor] and my husband managed a disability service for some years). The day that God gives the grace of what I understand to be His peace in our prevailing circumstances – i.e. setting aside your “lawyerly” mindset to “research and solve” issues, shifting from seeking a “preferred outcome”… Read more »
