My burdens get heavier every day. So little food, no money, etc. This morning, before opening the video, I prayed to God to give me more faith. I told Him that I know that I ask Him to take my burden, and then I still worry about it. I take sleeping tablets 3x daily so that I’m not awake with my anxiety. Then I watched the video and God, via Bruce, was looking into my soul. May this Lent bring peace.
Shirley, I am sorry that you are facing these trials in your life. I pray that God in his mercy will come to your aid and give you sustenance and peace. Life is difficult for so many people in different ways. Keep the faith and keep praying as I will also.
Praying for you, peace and know how very much you are loved by Him. Stay in the Psalms as they give to each one of us the specific comfort we need! Psalm 23, and 91, and 139 give to us a glimpse of His great love! “Father, I ask in the mighty name of Jesus that touch your daughter Shirley in a way that only she would recognize you are always there for her. I have been listening to you Bruce for a while now. I was sort of stuck “on going deeper”. Last Wednesday I was admitted to hospital. I ended up in a room with 4 beds, three of which were occupied by other women. And what an experience it was. Each woman was of a different faith, but all believed in God. And perhaps because we were all ill we started to have discussions about God and what a miracle this turned out to be. It was astounding to hear their stories and learn about their faith and feel their belief… Read more »
Dear Marie, Thank you for sharing your experience with those other 3 ladies. Yes truly a gift from God to talk about Him with others and be encouraged on your journey. I’m sure it uplifted everyone in that room. May Our God be talked about more! and praised and glorified. He truly drew you in deeper to himself over those 6 days and may it continue.
