God designed us to do more than simply avoid failure; He designed us for faith-filled adventures with Him. Leaving the safe environment of avoiding failure is the scariest, most rewarding step we’ll take.

Bruce Downes,
it really is a no brainer, it came to me, that you must expand. I can not give weekly to you, would if I could. Will try to cone up with a way of raising some funds for your ministry. Feel bad about taking this great gift you are sharing and not reciprocating. May “ GOD” bless you and your loved ones abundantly.

Thank you Bruce. Everyone needs to be reminded of the essential need of the Holy Spirit in their life. I am constantly asking the Holy Spirit to “come now, come quickly, and come as it will” (not my will). It’s a quick, easily recalled, powerful prayer to use in that moment of need or desperation; especially when it’s prayed with a deep desire to receive guidance. I know you will receive the clarity and direction you are looking for to do what you need to do. There are no limits when it comes to doing God’s work. You will be… Read more »

Good word Bruce. Yes, an element of the abundant life that Jesus said He gives is enjoying having the Holy Spirit with us in the everyday.

Regarding the ministry I felt that the question to ask is, ‘Is this a season for sowing or reaping?’ You have already sown so much is there more reaping to do? Or is this particular harvest sufficiently underway that it’s time to look to sowing into the next?
Bless you and your team.

Bruce compared to your decision, my decision in my situation seems small: which direction and location should I take on Pentecost Sunday? Your decision involves moving, hiring a larger facility, perhaps acquiring more high tech gear? Change of commuting for the entire staff? Hiring more staff? And the most common, biggest problem: where will all this money come from to pay for all this? You are SO RIGHT BRUCE!!! ASK GOD! ASK THE HOLY SPIRIT, OUR PARACLETE TO HELP US AND GUIDE US! OUR ADVOCATE! What I have learnt from this message today Bruce is about asking the Holy Spirit… Read more »

Hi, Bruce. The Holy Spirit is with all of us always. It is with us everyday. I appreciate your daily devotional messages…they bring us…everyone of us…as we deal with the struggles, the challenges, particularly during the past 14 months, when we have had to deal with, manage, cope with a global pandemic health crisis. This has been an Unending War Between Humanity and Infectious Disease. This current Plague Cycle has set the tempo for civilizational growth and decline. The Plague Cycle has revealed the relationship between civilization, globalization, prosperity and Infectious disease. The Holy Spirit can bring greater global cooperation… Read more »
