Just to note that Saint Mary Major is not merely a ‘church’ but is also a basilica. Plus it seems we are almost putting Francis on a pedastal as if he was the greatest Pope ever, he was any other Pope, he had his faults, his failiures. We must not canonise him prematurely but simply pray for the repose of his soul.

Thank you Rosemary for your loving and sincere words. The funeral was truly beautiful and amazing how many people lined the streets to pay their respects 🙏 as the pope mobile passed by. A good man and Pope
