Thank you Bruce for today, I find singing hymns stirs me inside, so many have a wonderful message, they are also like a pray to God, thanking him for his love his works and his mercy, although I must confess I don’t have the best singing voice, I believe God does not mind, after all he gave it to me. Outside of mass I find taking part in bible study groups and alpha is a good place to grow.
Vera. I totally agree with your enthusiasm for both music and alpha. I actually bought a subscription for music and have a big number of favourites from spotify, but there are so many sources of inspirational spiritual music that say for us to God what is in our heart but we seem to struggle to say. Words and music often invade my everyday life and give me an extra God relationship lift. keep on enjoying singing .
Not many step out to go that extra mile but it certainly does make a difference when you do! 👍. Praise and worship music leads to a calming effect and fills the atmosphere with such awareness of His great love of all! Preparing you to be the blessing to others that you are called to do in this crazy world!🕊
So needed…..being there for each other is a commandment getting lost in the critical, judgmental world…. Be light!👍💕

Wonderful, wonderful news. Wyatt William our second great grandchild was born this morning into a welcoming and loving family. Praise the Lord and give thanks. He is beautiful!!
Now that’s something to celebrate 🎉. All children should have that love needed to truly enjoy everyday! Congratulations!!! 18 grandchildren and another on the way but no greats as of yet😉

I sing as a cantor at church each weekend and with the CCD children the first Sunday of the month. Blessed to sing as when we sing it is like praying twice😇.Blessings to you and your family!
🤩. And we need help with CCD to get back to what the Church is all about! Loving Him and others! Bless you as music is so honoring to Him, little ones need to know that!

I agree with some on this post that music does stir something inside of me. I always begin and end my prayer time with music that touches me. Two of my favorites are He is Here by the Gaithers And How Beautiful by Twila Paris.
My favorite is Lauren Daigle’s “A Love like this”! And “Remember” brings me to tears for all He has done!! Thanks now I’m going to enjoy listening to your two favorites 👍

Great message today. I have been guilty of not being happy in my own parish with the music end but have overcome that through your journey since lent. I just want to say, without offending you, I was having lunch with a Christian friend yesterday. He does not go to any church and really criticized Catholics for always asking for money when there is so much money in the Catholic church. My rebuttal was that I give what I can and because I believe in my hard times have never been without. I also told him how great Catholic charities… Read more »
