Dear Bruce, You are correct in not wanting/needing to watch certain ads etc. on your television. Many years ago a priest who always visited my parents for meals & sometimes for evening prayers when he didn’t want to be alone said, ‘Be careful of who or what you invite into your lounge room’ – meaning the tv – this was after a discussion about tv commercials & programs.. today that discussion would have included social media & our use of all our devices.. Spot on….if it’s not going to help me be a better person I need not to watch it, or hear it…how we spend our time and with whom we spend our time is very important to God who truly wants the best for each of us even those who don’t believe yet😉 I watch the local news and when certain people are on I know to shut my eyes or walk out of the room…especially the “Catholic individuals that are Prochoice😢may God have mercy.. something horrible is very wrong!

You are correct Luke did write the Book of Acts. He is writing here about Paul talking with the Ephesian Elders as if Paul was speaking.
